Thanks for the memories Deadmax. My girlfriend and I drove up from LA to stay with friends in Palo Alto. We went to both shows. I gotta say, I was equally excited to see the Who at that time even tho I was a deadicated Head. I remember the first day the Who opened and on Sunday they traded. On Saturday I loved the Who and thought the Dead played OK. The next day, the 10th, it seemed like the Boys came out with something to prove. And they did. They were out in center field and we sat in the decks behind home plate. When the crowd started going nuts, the decks would move like there was an earthquake going on. Fun, but sort of bad for the mind. Then the Who came on again. After two song, it was apparent that they were doing the same thing as the day before. We all looked at each other -I'm tired! - and we left. Happy.

Thanks for the link. I'll check it out. It's weird and fun to be able to relive old stuff like this sometimes.
